Trailer: Battle Beyond the Sun (Roger Corman)
Delightfully trippy, campy trailer for one of the strangest classic-era SF movies you'll ever see, Battle Beyond the Sun by Roger Corman and Francis Ford Copolla.
the entire film used dubbed footage from a Soviet SF film, Nebo Zovyot. Except for the scenes of the monsters, shown more clearly in this trailer than in the film itself.
You have to check out the monsters. One can only surmise their resemblance to human male and female genetailia was deliberate camp.
When are civilization is dust, post-human archeologists will spend lifetimes trying to figure this shit out.
That such things existed are the ultimate homage to the American drive-in phenomenon and everything it once meant to the American culture, lifestyle, psychology and economy.

The script wasn't finished so Corman cast the screenwriter, Robert Towne (under the pseudonym Ed Wain) as lawyer Martin Joyce.
