Building the World Trade Center and Twin Towers - 1 of 2
This documentary was made in 1983 by The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Part 1 of 2).
It contains footage of when the twin towers were constructed from the mid 60's through early 70's.
20 World Trade Center Facts at 01-Apr-2002 - Courtesy of Carl Taylor, more at...
http://www.theharrowgroup.com/articles/20020401/WTC_facts.htm
1. The WTC opened in 1970 after 8 years of construction.
2. The WTC was the dream of David Rockefeller, chairman of the Chase Manhattan Bank, and Nelson Rockefeller, former Governor of New York.
3. The Rockefellers wanted to name the towers after themselves, but the mayor of NY, John Lindsay, insisted on the World Trade Center.
4. The City chose to build the WTC instead of building a new tunnel and large bridge over the Hudson River.
5. The World Trade Center was designed by architect Minoura Yamasaki.
6. According to Yamasaki, downtown Manhattan was the perfect place to erect the towers because there wasn't "a single building worth saving in the neighborhood."
7. Owners of nearby buildings disagreed, and delayed demolition by three weeks with their protests.
8. Sixteen blocks were cleared to house the completed WTC.
9. More than 10,000 workers involved in building the complex.
10. More than 60 of them died during construction.
11. The excavation work displaced enough soil to create Liberty Park, where four 60-floor towers and four apartment buildings were constructed.
***
Please note "Fact 11" is disputed - YT member "opusbeme" claims it should read Battery Park City !!
***
12. The WTC's foundations were laid at 60 feet below ground level.
13. The complex covered 16 acres when finished.
14. In addition to the towers, five other office buildings made up the WTC complex
The WTC had 12 million square feet of space.
15. Each floor was 50,000 square feet.
16. The buildings had their own ZIP codes - 10047 and 10048.
17. The towers were designed to look like a futuristic sculpture.
18. The structure was revolutionary. Its main supports were external, lining the four corners of each tower.
19. Critics condemned the completed buildings as "boring."
20. Completed, the buildings were 100 feet taller then the Empire State building.

9/11 Video Clips Dan Rather Would Rather Not Show You
A few excerpts of live television coverage of the events on September 11, 2001. It was clearly a hoax, as many people around the world now believe. These clips are from a 2-hour dvd available at the website http://www.MaeBrussell.com.
There are dozens of indications 9/11/01 wasn't what President Bush wants you to believe. Here are just a few:
*Four planes can't crash and leave no wreckage.
*Demolition charges, not planes, blew up the three buildings in the World Trade Center.
*If real planes had crashed into the same area of the initial detonations wouldn't that screw things up? I would think so.
*The fake CGI video clips of flight 175 approaching the Twin Towers has the plane traveling too fast.
watch?v=63BNIz8IIng
watch?v=zQTsiLX3XbA
*The fake CGI video clips of flight 175 flying through the South Tower show 90 or so percent of the fuel flying out the building, yet the many news cameras in the Trade Center that morning show no evidence or comment of fuel, or smell of fuel, on the streets and people below.
*The fake CGI video clips of flight 175 shows a plane that is a black shadowy plane-shaped cartoon and not a real plane.
watch?v=bqjKeBS1JwE
*Whoever created the CGI of the flight 175 plane not only did a terrible job, but goofed and allowed the nose of the plane to exit the building before exploding:
http://thewebfairy.com/911/missileout/index.htm
*The explosions of the planes smashing through the Twin Towers couldn't be more Hollywood-like. In Star Wars maybe, but the real world just isn't like that.
watch?v=gmjjK2MYKDg
*Everyone now knows that no plane crashed into the Pentagon, yet CNN interviewed a USA Today employee claiming he saw a plane crash and pieces were on the overpass. This type of plant/actor is similar to Col. L. Fletcher Prouty's description in his 1992 book JFK (chapter 3). You can read it in the "Articles, excerpts, & notes" section at http://www.maebrussell.com.
*A small army of these organized terrorists were in the World Trade Center that day. One of them (carrying a large bag) can be seen in the first video clip here. He misses his cue when a real person butts in. The actor turns around and goes back, then returns for his lengthy interview (interview not included here). He says he saw fire in the elevator shafts.
*Still pictures of the damage to the North Tower shown in TV documentaries and on the internet are fake, such as this one: www.whatreallyhappened.com/woman_wtc.jpg
and contradict the video shots aired by CNN that morning (last video clip posted here, or here's another one: /watch?v=1G6TQfIHJPo). Among other things, the beams at the upper right of the North Tower are jutting outward, whereas in the fake pics they have been straightened out.
For many years the late political researcher Mae Brussell exposed just how and why the traditional domestic U.S. eastern establishment powers, such as the Rockefellers and Kennedys, are being wiped out by the more sadistic, foreign interests infiltrating the United States (essentially the same folks we were fighting during WWII). And on Sept. 11, 2001 the Rockefeller-built World Trade Center was blown up littered with jokes and comedy acts for anybody who bothers to look.
Watch out whenever you hear somebody say the following:
*Lyndon Johnson and J. Edgar Hoover killed JFK.
*IBM's connections to the holocaust.
*The Rockefellers created AIDS.
*We need to do away with the United Nations.
*There was a 17 ft. circular hole in the Pentagon wall on 9/11/01.
Here is a typical example of bogus information to keep the public hopping:

Healing Cancer from Inside Out
Part 1, Curing Cancer, deals with the failings of conventional cancer treatments and shows how conventional medicine wildly - and deceptively - exaggerates the benefits of treatments, while minimizing the risks. It will provide you with the information you need to accurately assess the risks and benefits of any treatment and speak intelligently to your doctor about such treatments. There is also a section on the 'Cancer Industry' which explains the history behind cancer treatments, the suppression of alternative treatments and why chemotherapy, radiation and surgery are the only treatments available to mainstream medicine.
Part 2, Healing Cancer, shows how cancer can be successfully healed with dietary treatments and natural supplementation. It explains common misconceptions about cancer, shows how diets designed to fight cancer are more successful than conventional treatments, discusses startling cancer research findings with T. Colin Campbell (The China Study) and has interviews with people who have reversed cancers using diet. It also discusses supplementation and why attitude is important in reversing not only cancer, but any disease.
Participants include: T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D. (The China Study), Brian Clement, Ph.D. (Hippocrates Health Institute), Brenda Cobb (The Living Foods Institute), Mirea Ellis (The Kushi Institute), Charlotte Gerson (The Gerson Institute), Matt Lederman, M.D. (Transition to Health, Inc.), Thomas Lodi, M.D. (An Oasis of Healing), John A. McDougall, M.D. )Dr. McDougall's Health & Medical Center), and many more...

BOK Center opens with a multifaith blessing
http://tinyurl.com/sambok2
Music rocked the BOK Center downtown Sunday afternoon as thousands gathered for a multifaith celebration and blessing of the new building.
Fired by a 450-voice choir from about 85 houses of worship, the crowd often rose to its feet in applause and joined in the singing.
Recording artist Sam Harris, a native of the Tulsa area, said he was thrilled to be at the celebration, which was part of the grand opening for the arena.
"What a blessing it is to be in this place," he said while catching his breath after belting out, "Change Is on the Way," from his album "Free."
Harris was backed by the New Dimensions Chorale.
He asked the audience to join him in an old favorite children's worship song with the lyrics: "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine."
He urged the audience to "seek goodness everywhere, and wherever it is found, let it be free and unashamed."
Master of ceremonies John Erling quipped: "This is the day that the taxpayers have made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."
He thanked Rick Fortner, music director at All Souls Unitarian Church, for providing the spark years ago that resulted in the celebration, and for directing the community choir.
Near the end of the celebration, 11 faith leaders representing the major religions of the world offered prayers of blessing for the new facility.
Sitting side-by-side on the podium were spiritual leaders who were Methodist, Charismatic, Roman Catholic, Mormon, Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Unitarian, Buddhist and African Methodist Episcopal.
"We decided to call it a multifaith event, rather than an interfaith event, which carries some connotations," said Jim Mishler, executive director of Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry, who helped plan the celebration.
"We asked faith leaders to pray in their own tradition."
As a result, several leaders used the term "in Jesus' name," a phrase generally frowned upon at interfaith events.
Another prayed to Allah in Arabic, and another prayed in Sanskrit. Bishop Edward J. Slattery, of the Catholic Diocese of Tulsa, prayed in Spanish.
English translations of the foreign language prayers were displayed on the scoreboard as the leaders prayed.
A common theme running through the prayers was that the arena would be a blessing to the Tulsa community.
Erling said the participation of such diverse faith leaders at one event "has probably never been done in our city to this degree."
Mayor Kathy Taylor and BOK Center General Manager John Bolton spoke briefly.
As the crowd streamed out of the arena, Jeramy Auld said of the celebration, "I thought it was great."
"We're taxpayers," his wife Libby Auld said. "We thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be here."

Datam dessa época as primeiras composições.
Dessa peça fez bastante sucesso a canção antológica Se Todos Fossem Iguais a Você, gravada diversas vezes.
O disco Francis Albert Sinatra e Antônio Carlos Jobim, com arranjos de Claus Ogerman, incluiu versões em inglês das canções de Tom (The Girl From Ipanema, How Insensitive, Dindi, Quiet Night of Quiet Stars) e composições americanas, como I Concentrate On You, de Cole Porter.
