Seeburg DS-100 progress
I recapped the selector and amp. It selects now but its hit and miss. I tihnk i need to cleanup the big jones connectors and the keybaord. the tormat also needs to be aligned. One of the speakers i baught came DOA. so i can only run the amp with one channel. I havent modified the 6973 sockets to run my 6CZ5s. But will do it tomorrow. Ill post a couple videos over the next few weeks of my progress. Ive leaned a lot and am putting it to use. Thanks for you support everyone. Heres move it on over ona partially restored Seeburg DS 100.

Seeburg DS-100 Mechanism
Some close ups of my DS100's Selectomatic 100 mechanism.
The signer of these two songs is the famed Teresa Brewer. Song #1 is A-rock-A-Hula. #2 is Tear Drops in My Heart
This video was mainly for a friend who wanted to see how the mech trips at the end of the record and how force on the needle is adjusted.
Interesting facts...
The 6973's in this amp aren't all 6973's. The two on the left are 6CZ5's I paid $4/each for. There is no visable difference between them and i cannot notice any quality difference.
The grill was painted with cheap chrome paint.
This is the original cartridge. It hadn't been used in over 20-25 years.
I did 30 hours of soldering and spent just under $700 total on this box.
All I have left to do is get a few odd peices and paint the cabinet.
All my parts came from ebay. With exception of a few tubes and electrical componants.
I have never seen another jukebox other than this one, a firestar in someones living room that hadnt been turned on for 10 years and had papers piled on top of it :( . And an Rock Ola CD juke modeled after a Wurly 1015. But mine was still the first.
