Our Yellow Sun (not what you expect; give it a minute ;-)
The source of all life on earth, EVERY SECOND the sun converts five million tons of mass into energy. That's the equivalent of ONE MILLION years of human energy consumption (circa 2000 figures). The energy produced in the sun's core (as it slowly consumes itself) takes one million years to reach the surface where some of it is emitted into space. It is the source of almost all energy and movement (including all life) on earth. Yet the sun emits enough energy to supply 2.2 BILLION earths with life giving energy!

As our yellow sun very slowly burns itself out ("bleeds itself dry"), from the skin/surface of the sun, all the energy (that fueled life, evolution, and the conversion of mud, air, and water into our beautiful skin and bones), drawing a straight line to us, jumped across 93 million miles for you!
In a sense, we are mud, air, & water, mixed together with (energized by) yellow (sun energy). We are transformed sun energy, children/offspring of the sun, so to speak: We are all Yellow.
It's as if Coldplay is the sun singing us a loving lullaby.
It would be nice to think that Coldplay had some of this in mind when they wrote "Yellow" ;-)

Control Denied - Expect The Unexpected
Line Up: Chuck Schuldiner (Guitar) Shannon Hamm (Guitar) Tim Aymar (Vocals) Richard Christy (Drums) Steve DiGiorgio (Bass)
All of the pictures from Altamonte Springs in 1996 are of the original Control Denied lineup before there was a confirmed singer. They were taken at Chuck's house/home studio/rehearsal room, etc.
They rehearsed there from early 1996 through mid-late 1997. Then we started rehearsing in downtown Orlando with Richard as Death, working on Perseverance and material from past records.
On December 13, 2001 Chuck passed away after a struggle of 2,5 years. The band members are determined for the future to finish the second Control Denied album. 'When Man And Machine Collide'.

12012 - expect rush IV
The 12012 expect rush clip. (I think I'm in love with Kawauchi's pants...and Kawauchi in general.) It's not as "exciting" as some of the Expect Rush's I've seen, but it's nice to watch if you like the band.
