GODhead by Mattt Stubbs. Set to Fake NIN, Enya and Gladiator
Independent video of The Passion of The Christ by Mattt Stubbs. GODhead.
Music: Gladiator | The Might of Rome.
Nine Inch Nails | The Last Inch (Fake).
Enya | The Celts.
Length: 7:00.
Year: 2007.
The first time that I saw this movie it had a lasting effect on me. I guess even if you do not believe in what the movies basis is, you would still have to agree that the era on which it is based could be a harsh and brutal place at times. Even for the likes of a MAN who only wanted for fellowship love and peace upon the earth and all the people in it. I certainly do not want to come off preachy, but the message of the movie touched me in a way that I had never felt from only having read about it. It was very fun to be doing this again, especially with such an important piece. One of the tracks of music that I used is a fake NIN song. Even for a fake I thought this song was a decent choice for the part. This is my offering and I hope that you enjoy it.

Nigel Joseph speaks his mind at Godhead Tattoos
http://thebookmann.blogspot.com/2007/09/tattoo-meh-girlfreind-name-shawndriell_10.html
A friend of mine has a series of butterflies flitting up his arm and onto his back. These delicate colourful dainties are lifelike, beautiful little works of art gracing his milk chocolate skin. I love his butterflies, they seem so free, just as I love the dragon that roars across my brother's very toned stomach. It is a huge, multi coloured piece of exquisite workmanship. But why would anyone want to so permanently mark their bodies with symbols? The art of tattooing has been around for centuries dating back to early man. Mummies and other preserved humans have been found with tattoos, including the now famous Iceman, found frozen on the Italian-Austrian border dating back 5,200 years. These permanent imprints whether plain or elaborate are always personal and have served as amulets, status symbols, declarations of love, signs of religious beliefs, adornments and even forms of punishment.
The journey to getting a tattoo can be a long as carefully considering the symbology, researching the provenance, picking a tattoo artist, working with them to come up with a design. Then again, you could just get drunk one night and decide it's a really good idea before waking up the next morning with someone's name misspelled on a body part. The stuff that gives parents nightmares. Most responsible tattoo artists will not tattoo someone without first having a conversation about their reasons, nor will they tattoo people who are incoherent. It's bad for business. Contrary to popular belief, most tattoo artists are not low-lifes who are poorly educated, many have skills on par with Art school graduates. With the human body as their canvas it is not an easy job to apply a design, it takes practice and dedication, it can take years to become a master tattooist.
The person responsible for some of my friend's butterflies is Nigel Joseph who runs Godhead Tattoos in St. James. His book of flash is varied and he's worked in some really good shops outside of Trinidad. I first met him years ago in another incarnation but since then he's become a full time tattoo artist. Once he used to do etched glass, incredibly vibrant work that graces the homes and business' of many people in the more affluent part of town. While the rich may have lost their glass genius those of us who respect the art of tattoo are glad that there is someone left to carry on this fine art. - Natasha

GodHead " Too Far Too Long "
God Head
The first signing of Cement Shoes Records is "Godhead". Formed in the mid- '90s, Godhead has been steadily building their fan base and emerging as a true international rock act. Their debut release of 2000 Years of Human Error on Posthuman Records in January 2001 and the 2003 summer release of the follow-up Evolver on Reality Entertainment, have sold well over 100,000 copies to date. After years of touring extensively with Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Static-X, Mudvayne, Rammstein, Pigface and Saliva to name a few -- as well as performing at Ozzfest and the Reading and Leeds festivals overseas -- Godhead has scraped, clawed and carved out their own place in the rock music world.
"We're one of those bands that has done it all, from touring in a broken down van and playing in front of 10 people to entertaining festival crowds of tens of thousands. We've certainly paid our dues and then some, but we don't feel we are owed anything", says front man, Jason C. Miller. "We've always believed in ourselves and we are ecstatic to be working with Cement Shoes who recognize our years of hard work and know what it takes to succeed. We are thrilled to be on a label where the president truly cares about our long term career and not just what we can do for him next week," "We've never had that before" says Miller.
Formed in Washington, D.C. in the mid '90s, Godhead was signed to Marlboro Music and had two successful European releases in 1994 and '95 followed by their first US release- Nothingness in 1996 and Power Tool Stigmata in 1998. But it wasn't until 2001 that Godhead broke out in the US...
After years of hard work and determination, MTV and radio stations across the country started catching on to the Godhead sound and began playing "Eleanor Rigby" and "The Reckoning" in heavy rotation, both were from the 2000 Years of Human Error album. The band would play in front of over 3 million people world wide in the next two years and appear on three major motion picture soundtracks including the Gold selling Queen of The Damned as well as The Blair Witch Project and Dracula 2000. Their success continued into 2003 with "The Hate In Me" single from their Revolver album that turned into an MTV2 hit as well as the song "Far Too Long," which was featured on CBS Television's "NFL Today" show.
"We're ready for the next step and I couldn't think of a more capable person to run a record label in this day and age and get us to that step than Dan Catullo. In the ever changing and evolving record business that has a new set of rules every six months, Dan and his staff are the people that I am confident can roll with the punches and take us to the top."

Om - Unitive Knowledge of the Godhead
Song: Unitive Knowledge of the Godhead
Artist: Om
Album: Pilgrimage
(c)2007 Om/Southern Lord
After the demise of Sleep there were two main projects that arose: High on Fire and Om. High on Fire as we all know is Matt Pike's project which is more technical and heavy as all get out. Om, manned by rhythm section Al Cisernos and Chris Hakius, slowed things down a bit to create the mantra like stoner doom that we all love and enjoy.
I'd have loved to upload At Giza, but I hate splitting songs into two parts. This is my favorite cut from Pilgrimage, hope you all enjoy it...and go buy their shit, you won't regret it one bit.
