Global Meltdown
After so many requests. The old video tape finally turned up, drop outs galore, stained with puke, beer and a trace of semen. This is most of what I could get off the original VHS. The classic small time rave from 1991, Global Meltdown, organised by Lewis Gray and Jock Munro, with DJ's from MAYHEM. At one of Kents top rave venues, Borough Green Village Hall !! Not the full edit.
Because I had to heavily edit this, the music was dubbed on later.. by me, hence the crap mixing. The DJ's on the night were spot on.
This was one of a series of raves put on at the same venue, using different DJs, different lighting techniques.. strobeflowers, trackspots, goldenscans and emulators, lasers..the lot.. some of which pissed over this video, but we were too busy, too stressed and too stoned/drunk to film them.
We also reached a conclusion, that after trying Turbosound, JBL, Hill Audio and Bose at our raves, that a BOSE rig was able to handle that track LFO perfectly.
It the hall looks empty its because most people were in the chill out room downstairs listening to The Carpenters.
