Why - Jadakiss ft. Anthony Hamilton
[Jadakiss]
Aha
It's dat real
Yo, why is Jadakiss as hard as it gets
Why is the industry designed to keep the artist in debt
And why them dudes ain't ridin' if there part of your set
And why they never get it poppin' but they party to death
Yea, and why they gon give you life for a murder
Turn around only give you eight months for a burner, it's goin down
Why they sellin' niggaz CD's for under a dime
If it's all love daddy why you come wit your nine
Why my niggaz ain't get that cake
Why is a brother up North better than Jordan
That ain't get that break
Why you ain't stackin' instead of tryin' to be fly
Why is rattin' at an all time high
Why are you even alive
Why they kill Tupac n' Chris
Why at the bar you ain't take straight shots instead of poppin Crist'
Why them bullets have to hit that door
Why did Kobe have to hit that raw
Why he kiss that whore
Why
[Chorus: Anthony Hamilton]
All that I been givin'
Is this thing that I've been living
They got me in the system
Why they gotta do me like that
Try'd to make it my way
But got sent up on the highway
Why, oh why
Why they gotta do me like that
[Jadakiss]
Why would niggaz push pounds and powder
Why did bush knock down the towers
Why you around them cowards
Why Aaliyah have to take that flight
Why my nigga D ain't pull out his Ferrari
Why he take that bike
Why they gotta open your package and read your mail
Why they stop lettin' niggaz get degreez in jail
Why you gotta do eighty-five percent of your time
And why do niggaz lie in eighty-five percent of they rhymes
Why a nigga always want what he can't have
Why I can't come through in the pecan Jag
Why did crack have to hit so hard
Even though it's almost over
Why niggaz can't get no jobs
Why they come up wit the witness protection
Why they let the terminator win the election
Come on, pay attention
Why sell in the stores what you can sell in the streets
Why I say the hottest shit but we sellin' the least
[Chorus]
[Jadakiss]
Uh, yea, yo
Why Halle have to let a white man pop her to get a Oscar
Why Denzel have to be crooked before he took it
Why they didn't make the CL6 wit a clutch
And if you don't smoke why the hell you reachin' for my dutch
Why rap, cause I need air time
Why be on the curb wit a "why lie I need a beer" sign
Why all the young niggaz is dyin'
Cause they moms at work, they pops is gone, they livin' wit iron
Why they ain't give us a cure for aids
Why my diesel have fiends in the spot on the floor for days
Why you screamin' like it's slug, it's only the hawk
Why my buzz in L.A. ain't like it is in New York
Why you forcin' you to be hard
Why ain't you a thug by choice
Why the whole world love my voice
Why try to tell 'em that it's the flow son
And you know why they made the new twenties
Cause I got all my old ones
That's why
[Chorus]

Ja Rule Feat Fat Joe & Jadakiss - New York
He attended Junior High School in Floral Park, New York, where he met his future wife Aisha Murray and they graduated in 1991. They attended Martin Van Buren High School together but he did not graduate. When Atkins was five years old, his sister died from respiratory problems. Growing up in a strict religious home, Atkin's family did not celebrate birthdays and Christmas, and as a child, was not allowed to listen to rap music. When he first heard it, he decided to be a rapper. He would sneak the music into his house and played it on his CD player when his mother wasn't around. Atkins is married to his high school sweetheart, Aisha Atkins née Murray. They have three children: Brittney (11), Jeffrey Junior (6) and Jordan (3).He and his family live in a mansion in New Jersey.
Rise to Fame
At age 15, Atkins appeared with 0-1 and Chris Black as part of Cash Money Click. This would lead to him being signed by TVT Records. He would end up being heard by a young DJ who called himself DJ Irv, then later Irv Gotti. Gotti, was a friend of Jay-Z's and he was also a DJ for Def Jam Recordings. During the mid 90s his main priority was meeting Ja Rule. He wanted to sign Ja to his new label Murder Inc. Records. He wanted Ja because of his distinct deep voice. After Irv was able to sign Ja along with DMX and Jay-Z to Def Jam. He beagn to have an idea that they all work together. They formed a group named The Murderers. They recorded many songs together. Friction tore the group apart, DMX, a rapper that sounds very similar to Ja accused him of trying to steal his style with the deep voice, by saying that before the three were signed Ja tried to make his voice sound lighter but heard him embrace the deep voice and tried to imitate it. They had planned to release an album together, but this idea was scrapped and they all made appearances on their respective albums. Still, around this time, Ja Rule was still fairly unknown. Jay-Z, at the time a young star and new to Def Jam, was the most popular rapper in hip hop. Russell Simmons had the idea that in order to build hype around Ja Rule and capitalize on Jay's popularity that Ja Rule do a verse on Jay-Z's 1998 single Can I Get A..., which also featured Amil. Ja's performance of the verse made him a household name and he became an instant star and by the release of his album a year later he was one of Def Jam Recordings premier acts.
Venni Vetti Vecci (1999)
In 1999, Ja Rule released his debut album Venni Vetti Vecci on Murder Inc./Def Jam. The album featured summer smash "Holla Holla". That single would propel the album to a platinum certification. His album featured appearances from Jay-Z, DMX, Memphis Bleek, and Ronald Isley.
In 2000, Atkins was also featured on Irv Gotti's successful album, Irv Gotti Presents: The Murderers, which featured other Murder Inc. record label artists as well as DMX, Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes.
Rule 3:36 (2000)
In 2000 Atkins released Rule 3:36, his second album. The first released single was "Between Me & You" featuring Christina Milian, which proved to be a hit and was followed by another successful single, "Put It On Me" featuring Lil' Mo and Vita. The album received an unexpected level of support, and went on to go triple platinum. By this time Ja Rule was even more popular than Jay-Z and made an appearance on LL Cool J's G.O.A.T. album.
Pain Is Love (2001)
On October 2, 2001, Atkins released his third album, Pain Is Love. The first single, "Livin' It Up", was another hit. It featured guest vocals by R&B singer Case and sampled Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do". The follow up single, "Always On Time", was released in December of the same year and was yet another success. The song introduced the public to singer Ashanti, who performed the chorus. The album also featured the successful remix "I'm Real" with Jennifer Lopez. Finally, the album included the song "So Much Pain", a tribute to Tupac Shakur, and also went on to become triple platinum.
Due to the additon of Ashanti, Lil Mo ended her relationship with Murder In

**this is really CheckMate the Song**
50 cent gettin put 2 rest by jadakiss and Jada my man Killed it Just Watch Camron juelz Dipset East West Coast God Penis Enis Morningside Jada Hot Wat What ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ Connecticut hood shot 9 times helped you
LYRICS You did it baby! Congratulations homie! You made history. 1.1 million in a short week. [laughs] Screw a press conference, press this on your conscience.
D-Block! Cheers!
We gon' handle this like grown men, you won't win
You ain't even comfortable in your own skin
I rap my ass off, fighting the champ with a glass jaw
In the Garden or Nassau
See me, couple hood niggas behind stars
I hear you put a couple good niggas behind bars (Preme!)
I might never sell that much
But you can bet your last two quarters I'll never tell that much
Picture 'Kiss not come out swingin'
That's like seeing 50 at a show and he don't come out singin'
Yeah you got a felony but you ain't a predicate
Never the King of New York, you live in Conneticuit
You don't be in the hoods, you be in the woods
Fuckin' with me its where you really gonna be for good
I hold a four-five myself
Hop out the Range on one-four-five myself
This is a true fact
Since when has become cool to get shot and not shoot back
Trackmasters shelved you, Bravehearts helped you
Then everybody felt, now I gotta melt you
And don't try to pull rank on 'Kiss
Cause the niggas I'mma send to do it ain't gon' miss
Be laid up stiff, I spit straight up piff
I did real songs with Big, no made up shits
And I don't have a problem with clout
You aint get shot again yet,
so whats your second album about? (Nothing)
Your raps are preschool
You made a lot money, now be cool
Before I swell up your lips like seafood
Can I get a mic check?
You don't stand a chance at the dance with me dogs
You steps ain't right yet
The Block is just fine, home the D's straight
Most likely your new CD is a weed plate
A bunch of love songs
One hundred precent pure garbage
Just something to break up buds on
You should just sell clothes and sneakers
Cause out of your whole camp, your flows the weakest
I'm in the town where the young boys is clappin'
You running around town with the Lieutenant and Captain
It'd take a life time to see 'Kiss
You had to get shot nine times to be rich
Rat ass nigga youse an animal, youse a motherfucking animal
Pig ass nigga youse an animal, youse a motherfucking animal
Snake ass nigga youse an animal, youse a motherfucking animal
Matter fact, you ain't no animal
I'mma show these motherfuckers how to handle you
D-Block!
