Photodrama of Creation by Charles Taze Russell
This was the VERY first time sound and film were ever synchronized was in 1912.
It combined film with hand-coloured slides. It was shown to millions of people throughout the US, Europe, Asia & Africa starting in 1914. It was actually made in 1912 but presented in 1914, according to many sources.
It was a Christian group that made it who were then known as Bible Students, but later changed their name to Jehovah's Witnesses. The teachings of the Photo-Drama are of course out-dated and don't represent what the Witnesses currently teach. Fortunately, they are one religion who are not opposed to correcting any mistakes they've made in the past.
This film is of interest to a wide range of people, especially due to it`s historical place in multimedia, and is even mentioned in the Internet Movie Database, the biggest, award-winning movie site. (please see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0162536)
