mp3 player knot
I have newer knots posted at http://www.metacafe.com/channels/woosh3/
This is how I put away my mp3 player. This way I do not have to deal with inextricable knots next time I want to use it.
This may increase the chance of fracturing the inside cables which is bad for your headphone cord.

Tie the 'Windsor' knot
The Windsor knot, also (wrongly) known as the "Double-Windsor" (a non-existing enormous 16-move knot), is the most well known knot in the world.
The Windsor is a large, symmetrical, self-releasing triangular knot. The tie was named by Americans in the 1920-30's after the Duke of Windsor. The Duke was known for his fondness of large triangular tie knots, but didn't in fact invent this particular knot. His secret was a specially tailored tie with an extra thickness of material.
There are four tie-versions that result in the "Windsor" knot; two self releasing, and two non-self releasing. This version filmed here is considered as the original (self releasing) version.
The video is to be viewed as if you were looking in a mirror.

Author of a world best seller book "The Power of Now" 1999 Eckhart Tolle points toward the "spaciousness" that surounds every object and every event in our lives. It must be obvious, but maybe to many of us unnoticed.

Gordian Knot - Rivers Dancing
There is a lack of material by the amazing Gordian Knot available on this website, so I decided to rectify the situation. This is a progressive group birthed from the vision of Sean Malone, widely acclaimed as the bass player who can be heard on the famous album Focus by the death metal group Cynic. The song provided is from Gordian Knot's debut, self-titled album.
Note: I will be uploading more Gordian Knot material, but on another account. This account belongs to a friend of mine, and he will be wanting to use it for his own ends sooner or later. I only used it due to my lack of activity on the internet. I will post my new username in a comment here when I have registered it.

Tie the 'Cavendish' knot
The knot is named by the two Cambridge University physicists; Thomas Fink and Yong Mao, research fellows working from the Cavendish laboratories and authors of the comprehensive "85 ways to tie a tie".
In their own words: "This is the principal 8-move, 2-centre knot. As its sequence suggests, the Cavendish is a concatenation of two four-in-hands, one being a mirror image of the other. This gives an idea of its shape: similar to the four-in-hand, but much bigger."

Tie the 'Pratt' (aka 'Shelby') knot
The "Pratt" is related to the "Nicky" and provides an excellent compact, medium sized symmetric knot. The "Pratt" is a very practical knot which can be used with most any tie.
As you can see, the tie is inverted (the seam shows) as you start. This saves us one loop.
The video is to be viewed as if you were looking in a mirror.
