Karni Mata Temple, 30 miles south of Bikaner in the small village of Deshnoke. This is one of the strangest holy spots in India.

The Karni Mata Temple was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the early 20th century in the late Mughal style.

Karni Mata is the 'Goddess of Food Giving', at the temple it is traditional to give food to the rat residents.
