Star Wars Soundtrack - Mustafar Duel
Song used when Anakin Skywalker(Darth Vader) duels with Obi-Wan Kenobi and when Yoda fights Darth Sidious. The music of Star Wars consists of the scores written for all six Star Wars films by composer John Williams between 1977 and 1983 for the Original Trilogy, and 1999 and 2005 for the Prequel Trilogy. More broadly, it refers to any music that is used to depict the larger Star Wars Universe, which would include music for Star Wars video games, and other media. John Williams' scores for the double trilogy count among the most widely-known and popular contributions to modern film music.
The scores utilize an eclectic variety of musical styles, many culled from the Late Romantic idiom of Richard Strauss and his contemporaries that itself was incorporated into the Golden Age Hollywood scores of Erich Korngold and Max Steiner. While several obvious nods to Holst, Walton and Stravinsky exist in the score to Episode IV, Williams relied less and less on classical references in the latter five scores, incorporating more strains of modernist orchestral writing with each progressive score. The reasons for Williams' tapping of a familiar Romantic idiom are known to involve Lucas' desire to ground the otherwise strange and fantastic setting in well-known, audience-accessible music. Williams tapped into the audience-accessibility in the first lines of the original theme by using a familiar song from a popular Oscar winning movie soundtrack from a few years before. Williams has widely maintained that his original theme is the theme song from Born Free played in reverse. He used this as a "subliminal hook" to capture his audience. Indeed, Lucas maintains much of the trilogy's success relies not on advanced visual effects, but on the simple, direct emotional appeal of its plot, characters and, importantly, music.
Star Wars is often credited as heralding the beginning of a revival of grand symphonic scores in the late 1970s. While to ascribe this feat single-handedly to Williams is premature, the popularity and impact of the scores was a major contribution. One technique in particular has had a particular influence: Williams's revival of a technique called "Leitmotiv", which is most famously associated with the operas of Wagner and, in film scores, with Steiner. A "leitmotif" is a phrase or melodic cell that signifies a character, place, plot element, mood, idea, relationship or other specific part of the film. It is commonly used in modern film scoring, as a device to mentally anchor certain parts of a film to the soundtrack. Of chief importance for a "leitmotif" is that it must be strong enough for a listener to latch onto while being flexible enough to undergo variation and development.

Duel on Mustafar
The Duel on Mustafar was the event in the Great Jedi Purge in which Darth Vader was injured by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and would later be transformed into his cybernetic form. It would prove a decisive moment in Galactic history.
The duel occurred in the aftermath of the Mission to Mustafar, in which Darth Vader slaughtered the Separatist Council and ended the Clone Wars. He met up with his wife, Padmé Amidala, during the aftermath of the massacre. Obi-Wan Kenobi, hiding in the cargo hold of her Naboo Skiff, appeared to Vader, making it seem like it was a trap laid out by Padmé. In his rage, Vader strangled his wife to near death, knocking her unconscious. The former best friends were forced to confront each other in battle.

SWBF2 - Elite Mode Challenge - 15. Mustafar
Since I haven't done any real ranting in a while, I'll do so now.
This level is great. No, really. This is the one level where I think every class is given fair play, and sometimes can create death on a massive scale. Sadly, I don't show the full potential of that, given that this was a quick pop and lock.
It was also this level that showed me how bad the AI is, seriously, they could've attempted a potentially work-able swarm, but refuse to for no reason at all. Can you say 'fucking ridiculous'? All in all, while this is a great map and all, the path-finding and chronically retarded AI ruin it. Oh very well.
Warning, proceeding rant includes gluttonous amounts of anger, cursing, and a stream of esoteric bullshit provided by Pandemic. And yes, I'm aware that this was possibly misuse of 'esoteric'.
As for the heroes on this map, the Clone Wars heroes make no fucking sense. Obi-Wan for Reps, and Darth Maul for CIS. WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING? Obi-Wan never, NEVER did jackshit on Mustafar except ruin Padme's attempt at redemption and make chopped lamb of Vader. What an ass. Now back to the logical holes here, really, Maul was DEAD FOR THIRTEEN YEARS(in canon timeline) BEFORE THE EVENTS OF MUSTAFAR. Jesus Christ, what incompetent programmers. Honestly, though, it should've been Anakin vs. Sidious. That would've been logical to some extent, I mean really, the rest of the villians are either dead, paradoxial, or children. These two are the only logical choices for the sides, but Pandemic is so retarded that they fuck this simple thing up. GCW actually gets the right end of the stick, for once. Really, if it isn't a somewhat fitting hero, it's Boba-IGOTRAPEDBYSARLACCLOLOLOL-Fett. Fucking sad, that.
