Felix the Cat in "Neptune Nonsense"
This is my favorite Felix cartoon, especially because of Neptune's speech. (My other favorite little touch is the sound made as the fish's tears hit the bottom of the bowl.) Since this cartoon appears to be public domain as it is readily found on bargain basement DVDs and videocassettes, I thought it would be nice to share it with everybody. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0141654/

Nonsense Machines
An inventing enthusiast, Nobumichi Tosa, showcased some of his wacky designs while on tour in Hong Kong. He is part of Maywa Denki, a performance art troupe with a
definite touch of the bizarre.
The work is called "a product" and a live performance or exhibition is held as a product demonstration. The products in this video form the "NAKI Series" fish-motif nonsense machines.

CSI: Miami Nonsense
Just a stupid slideshow I created a while back. It's a bunch of pictures in which the actors have been... erm... caught "off guard."
...I thought it was funny at the time...

The Lucifer Project & Why It's Nonsense
*UPDATE* NASA announced Tuesday that it has extended the Cassini mission to Saturn by two years, allowing dozens of additional flybys of several of the planet's exotic moons. The four-year primary mission of the spacecraft was set to end in July 2008, but with the spacecraft still in good health the space agency decided to extend the mission two more years. The extension covers 26 additional flybys of Titan, the planet's largest moon, as well as several of Enceladus and three other moons; studies of the planet itself, its rings, and magnetosphere are also planned for the extended mission. Mission managers said that three instruments have "minor ailments" but continue to return science, and that the spacecraft will have enough propellant at the end of this extended mission to possibly permit yet another extension.

The simplest way of explaining why this will not happen. Research it more rather than taking conspiracy theorists words for it. Also, it is worth mentioning that the descent of the Cassini spacecraft into Saturn has not even been confirmed yet: "NASA is considering a high-altitude parking orbit and an impact on a smaller moon where RTG contamination will not be a problem. Specifically, scientists do not want to contaminate Enceladus or Titan, which may have organic materials, with radioactive waste. Perhaps the most likely option is to leave Cassini in a long-lived orbit that would have little to no risk of ever hitting anything. Another is to impact Saturn like Galileo did at Jupiter, although there are some complications with this one. The complications arise from the beautiful wafer-thin rings that girdle the planet and the fact that in order to dive into Saturn, Cassini would have to pass through them-a risky maneuver that could render the spacecraft uncontrollable." There are many options NASA has to end the life of Cassini, another is to raise anchor and escape the Saturn system altogether. Such a maneuver would require numerous flybys of Saturn's largest moon Titan to sling the spacecraft free of the ringed planet's environs. If Cassini were to be cut adrift in this manner, her controllers have two further choices: either bring her sunward or let her escape deeper into the outer solar system. So, people who are saying Cassini will be plunged into Saturn are wrong, because it hasn't been confirmed yet, and won't be confirmed until the mission is nearly over. Lastly, current planning is for a two year mission extension that ends on July 1, 2010, NOT 2008 as the conspiracy theorists have suggested. However, presuming that the spacecraft continues to function well, it's reasonable to expect that one or more further extensions will be supported. Sometime around 2012, Cassini, like the ocean-going ships of old, will need to be decommissioned.
