Long Ago & Far Away - Pinko
This is a clip from one of the episodes of a program I grew up with called "Long Ago & Far Away". It was a collection of stories, either animated or live action, from all over the world, and the show was hosted by James Earl Jones. Growing up, my favorite stories were the Hungarian folktales.
This is the folktale called "Pinko", narrated by Tammy Grimes. (Nothing to do with commusnism, folks.) From what I understand, the Hungarian folktales were originally from a program called "Magyar Népmesék".
It's a darn shame this show was never released on DVD or anything. :(
