A medley of tunes with Jim Radloff on Piano, Steve Standiford on Piano & Tuba, and me, the RagJazzMonkey, Tom Warner on the Vintage Strativarious Washboard. I sure had a great time and the audience was amazingly tolerant of all the extra racket I made with my laundry device.
I hurried off of the stage in order to dodge the flying tomatoes & cabbages. I was quite fortunate to not suffer any direct hits thanks to my expertise at dodge ball on the playground in grade school. If I do this again next year, I'm going to insist on a reinforced chicken wire barrier at the front of the stage.
This was on Saturday afternoon, June 7th, in the Big Tent at the Annual Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival in Sedalia, Missouri.
