Re-Enactment: The Princess Bride
The Seventh of my Re-enactment series. Holy balls, this one took a while to finish, mainly because of the size. It clocked in as a whole gig when I had it as an .AVI. Five minutes long... this is definitely the longest one. Enjoy.

Re-Enactment: Pan's Labyrinth
The 24th of my Reenactment Series. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Reservoir Dogs. I just thought this was too good not to do. Very short, but sweet. I don't speak Spanish, btw. It took a million times going over the Spanish subtitles in this video to get it right. In this scene from Pan's Labyrinth, a young girl has been given three tasks to do by a mysterious faun. During the second task, she broke one of the rules, and the faun gets pissed. I can't really explain the plot very well, you have to see this. I figured most of you have since this is pretty much the most mainstream foreign film. It won three Academy Awards... it deserves them too.

Re-Enactment: Jurassic Park
The Eighteenth of my Re-Enactment Series. The only reason I did this video: Jeff "Freaking" Goldblum. My friends and I sat up all night doing Jeff Goldblum impersonations, ending each sentence with "and, and, if... and, well, thereitis." I have a hunch that when he gets a script, he adds a comma after 90% of the words in all of his lines. "I'm just saying that, uh, uh, life, uh, finds, a way." I concentrated on Jeff Goldblum... my impersonation of the other four characters may not be up to par. I have A Few Good Men in my possession... maybe this week.

Re-Enactment Request #1: Pulp Fiction
The 26th of my Reenactment Series. Here it is. Finally. I didn't get it in before Monday... hence, I didn't leap. Looks like I'm stuck here... dammit. (Quantum Leap references out of the way...) I KNEW some of you guys would be disappointed. It's such a great scene, and you've been waiting a long time for it. I'm hearing the same complaints: Bangs were distracting, didn't like the hair, too comical and not serious. 1. I put the "Bangs" in because I thought they were hilarious. I giggled to myself in the glow of my laptop for 5 minutes making that "Bang" montage in the end. 2. I like how you guys think the beard was distracting, and yet the floral quilt hanging in the background, the continuity errors, and even the accidental inclusion of my laptop in one of the takes weren't distracting at all. Again, I just thought the beard was funny. 3. I could never pull off Samuel L. Jackson. He's too badass, especially in this scene. When I can't get someone's mannerisms, I go for a comic portrayal to redeem myself. Sometimes it works and you guys never notice. Other times... All in all, I was sort of happy with this. It may not be a milestone for what probably will be my last reenactment, but I didn't expect it to. It's hard to say whether or not I'll do anymore reenactments. I want to move on... there are a lot of things happening in the next few months for me, and I have to concentrate on them. That isn't to say I won't be uploading any more videos, but they may be few and far between from now on. I'm still here. I just don't know for how long... (and no, I'm not dying)

Re-Enactment: Labyrinth
The 34th of my Reenactment Series. Just for fun. I did my best, but I think the award for best Bowie impersonation has to go to Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords. More videos to come.

Re-Enactment: The Big Lebowski
WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE The Fourteenth of my Re-enactment series. I can't stress "strong language" enough. The Big Lebowski is on the list of top movies in which the F-word is used most frequently. In this scene, Walter and The Dude are going bowling as usual. When someone on the other team steps "OVER THE LINE," Walter calls him on it and pulls a gun. I just think this scene is hilarious; John Goodman's character adds so much to the movie. Understandably, this movie is not everyone's cup of tea. For those of you who haven't seen this movie, you may not get it or think it's funny. This is a cult classic for a reason, I guess. P.S. - Wtf, Youtube? After you did some "maintenance," my sound is lagging a bit... dammit. P.P.S. - Still working on Dogma.

Re-Enactment: Star Trek: First Contact
The Fifth of my Re-enactment series. I'm not a trekkie, but I do think Star Trek: The Next Generation is a kick-ass show, rivaled only by its kick-ass movies (with the exception of the last one...). First Contact is a good example. In this scene, a woman from the 21st century is on board the Enterprise, which is slowly being overtaken by a race of aliens known as the "Borg." Captain Jean-Luc Picard does not want to self-destuct his ship, even though it is the only way to defeat the Borg once and for all. The woman attempts to talk Picard into doing it. This will only be funny if you have seen this movie. If not, sit back and enjoy my shitty impersonation of Patrick Stewart. Notice that I didn't even attempt to look like a woman for the other part. Just use your imagination. Resources: a very nice red turtleneck Note: That's a Star Trek: First Contact hat lying on Picard's desk. Thought I'd throw that in there.
