Dead Rising Perfect Run 4-3: Saves the Day
4-3:
Starting off outside Roastmasters leaves the survivors on the ground floor in a bad position, but there aren't enough zombies in Paradise Plaza right now for it to really be a problem. Rich gets dinged up, but I know I can handle that later.
I should arm Ronald a little better, but frankly, he's an ass and doesn't deserve it. It's also very thematically apt for him to be wielding a frying pan, and the pan's a good solid knockdown weapon. (When arming a survivor with a melee weapon, always opt for knockdown over sheer damage. A baseball bat is ideal.)
Note that Ronald's appearance strips all the food out of Jill's Sandwiches for the duration. Before, you could always stop by there for some baguettes and pies, but Fatty McOvereat ruins that for you.

The population spike seen on the graph here was caused by the discovery of hydrocarbon energy; Coal, Oil and Natural Gas.
There are, on a global average, ten calories of hydrocarbon energy invested in every calorie of food energy we consume. From commercial fertilisers to transportation to refrigeration we have simply turned hydrocarbon energy into food - that's the population spike, nothing else.
It is a once only gift from nature and it has been one hell of a party, a bit rough at times but we are animals at the end of the day.
The energy source is finite and looks like it has reached its peak. When it starts to decline it will do so as steeply as it increased. The population will follow it.
Make the most of it. When you drive, fly, turn on a TV or an electric light or cook your Sunday dinner marvel at the sheer luxury of it all.
The Post-Oil Age will be very different.

Wifi Battle #27 Lestat Vs Rising Hero
After the nail biting excitement of last night's battle I thought it would be a while before I deemed a battle good enough to follow it... one day later I was pleasently surprised!
This guy is Rising Hero, a user from Marriland, and a fairly decent battler. Though from what i've heard he manipulates the glitch whereby if you flee and d/c quickly it looks like he has accepted an honourable defeat and doesn't want the long end to a battle but really what happens is that the win isn't recorded...
Anyway, he isn't too bad a trainer, but the team I bring isn't great and it shows. Nevertheless it makes for a good game. I had to speed it up to x3 because the battle lasted just over 45 mins and thats almost the max my camera can take atm... I need to get new memory.
So, my breakdown of the battle... Nymph excels today as a cleric, both at the beginning and the end, negating the foe's PinkWhore's attempt to para my whole team and basically wasting their moves.
It was also extra satisying predicting fire attacks so often and catching them with Prometheus. Then bringing him back, cured of paralysis (its a miracle I tell thee!) and taking out the most formidable of Special walls with special attacks!! Definatly my moment of the battle XD
I expected an explosion from his Azelf and it would have turned the battle entirely in my favour had I went with tht feeling and dodged it with Dusknoir, but alas I made the match hard for myself by not going with my early predicitions. But after that I felt like my read was so good on my opponent that I could predict most moves. And none so beautifully as knowing that he would switch in Breelom, expecting a heal bell and a return of the 'Spore Saga', and countering it with the psychic that won the battle.
Had we played on I would have heal belled and brought Dusknoir back in and then together took out his remaining pokes. Celebi could have put up a slight fight and attemped to set up with CM but it was always going to take a toxic and have to employ Natural Gift. Whereas Machamp was made enitrely redundant with no pp for Stone Edge left and no way of hitting with his other attack.
Its cheap that he ran and didnt take the full defeat on the chin, but it would have been a long process that he stood no chance at whatsoever because of the sheer bulkiness of my two pokes.
