RvD2 - Music Only Version
Thanks to the generous contributions of our fans, we were able to have a professional score written, and recorded by a professional 60-piece orchestra.
This version of the video is presented without sound effects or foley, to really allow the music to shine.
You can purchase the soundtrack CD on the official website, www.ryanvsdorkman.com. The CD includes not only the music from the short, but also an interview with the composers. The interview is filled with anecdotes about the film, and composing in general, and runs over an hour in length.
The behind-the-scenes DVD, also for sale on the website, includes footage from the meetings where the score was developed, and from the actual scoring session itself.
It will also include this music-only version, with the option to hear it in full orchestral quality, or with the synthesized mock-ups that we would have used had we not received the donations we did. The difference will amaze you.
