COST CONCERNS (tip to pommel, all estimated):
Tip = $4 (+ a little cost of mirrored tape)
Blade = $8
Diffuser = $2 (if you use part of a roll of the 'gift wrap film')
Rubber gasket = $2 to $5 (if that!)
1.25" TCSS blade/LED holder = $20 (includes heatsink, screws)
Luxeon III LED = $8
Optics & holder = $6
1.25" Sink Tube = $5
Switch = $1
3.6v Li-Ion 18650 cell = $18
Recharge Port = $1 to $2

TOTAL = about $75
As you might note--you could drop the battery cost from $18 to say $1 or $2 if you went with some other cheaper cells (such as Ni-Mh or even Alkaline). This would drop the cost to more around $50-$60. Up to you.
You also do NOT need to buy Tim's emitter/blade mount/whatever if you don't want to... but... it's **highly recommended** vs. trying to make your own without proper shop tools!

better way to dupe lightsabers - KOTOR 2 xbox
Here is a better way to duplicate lightsabers - i spoke the math wrong, its 1 saber to 3 sabers to 9 sabers to 12 sabers and after that, its number of that sabers you have minus 4, plus 8, for each additional time u do this

My props to the people who actually made this. Sorry for posting your video, but I felt the need to show it to people, sending it via E-mail wasn;t enough. This is the best star wars fan movie I've ever seen. Please tell me how you did it, my light sabers never come out this good.

This is my ultra sabers initiate bought from www.ultrasabers.com. I recommend them! it's really nice and bright, even though it doesn't look as good as it does in the video. In the video, it looks like it came out of SW, with the white stick in the center and the red glow. In real life, it just looks like a really bright red stick with a little bit of glow, but it's still nice. This saber does not come with a sound board, the reason why there's sound is because I added it in in the video. Please don't say my adding it in sucked, because I've never had to make a video and put sound that I didn't record in it.
