DISCLAIMER:
I have not been diagnosed with epilepsy, and please understand that I suffer from seizures due to the neurological effects of Lyme Disease. I most often have simple partial seizures now that I am on medication to control them. I also have absence,complex partial, and before starting medication I suffered from tonic clonic (grand-mal)seizures. I currently take Neurontin and Keppra for seizure management. This is a very mild episode that has been edited down due to time constraints, this shows parts of a much longer episode. I actually come in and out of consciousness for about 10 minutes. My dog, actually alerts me that the seizures are coming on, she has done this since she was a puppy and she's a certified service dog The footage at the end is some time after I have come back to consciousness and am some what alert. Remember not all seizures look the same and it is important to educate yourself about the many types of seizures so you can recognize when it is happening to you or someone you love.
