The Ugandan doomsday cult were convinced that a Millennium Armageddon was going to occur. Just months after this prophecy was not fulfilled, hundreds of Joseph Kibweteere's followers burned in their compound.
Joseph's wife Theresa and Peter Bananga, the only survivor of the cult massacre, tell us their side. Ex-prostitute Credonia Mwerinde, whose claimed vision of Mary prompted Kibweteere to form the clan, said Theresa was evil. Theresa claims her husband is dead and he and Credonia are in Hell for perverting Christianity. The devotion by members of other clans eerily resembles the description given by sole cult survivor Peter Bananga. "They want to have a god who will answer their prayers immediately". A chilling look at how prophets much like Kibweteere continue to attract followers.

Dan & Pip give an exclusive, impromptu performance of "Thou Shalt..." backstage at Glastonbury 2007 in the BBC hospitality tent.
There were only about 40 people allowed to be in there, & I was lucky enough to be one of them. Sadly, due to the tiresome nature of Zelebrity in this day & age, so was Aisleyne "Know Yourself" Big Brother (from 2006). You can spot her as it pans across the audience. She later came on to Monsieur Pip pretty damn strong, directly after he came off stage...
Anyway, maximum respect to the boys as always, & an extra special thanks for giving my band "The Loose Cannons" a name-check in the Just a Band section. Props indeed! Cheers boys...
I haven't actually looked online, but I'm pretty confident you won't find this content anywhere else. The BBC certainly weren't filming. Do of course let me know if you come across it.
