Crysis barrel physics
This is pretty much a test to see of all the stuff I did to make this actually worked. I will make a better video in the next day or two.
Some things to know:
I used some console commands to make it run smooth like you see in the video. Without the command "sys_physics_CPU 0", that many objects colliding together runs at such a slow frame rate. "sys_physics_CPU 1" is the default setting where physics have an independent frame rate. "sys_physics_CPU 0" smooths physics frame rate, but drastically reduces frame rate in general.
To counter the loss of frame rate, you make the editor take many screen shots, which you can put together to a video later.

Crysis 8k Barrels - Mass Physics
Oke first of all this isen't in game framerates.

Useful commands:

cl_hud=0 - hides your display.
e_particles=0 - removes all particles.

Mass physics - made by The Wobbles
I't soo sexy you might evan like it :P
Thanks to ABad Feeling and TDUBDUB for thier inspiration and custom materials etc.. I used the ingame recorder to record it and here are the console commands to tweak it : sys_physics_CPU 0
fixed_time_step 0.033333
e_particles 0 (all those particles when a box would collide with something lagged my GPU and CPU to death almost)
r_motionblur 4 (need the very high tweak if on DX9)
r_useEdgeAA 2 (fake anti aliasing, blurs edges)
r_displayinfo 0 (get rid of the white text when in devmode/sandbox)
cl_hud 0 (gets rid of the HUD)
capture_frames 1 (to take a screenshot at every frame so you can add them all together to make a smooth motioned video).
e_view_dist_ratio 200
I used Virtual Dub to render the video and the very handy Windows movie maker to compose it together :P
