Jane Morgan song triplet
Jane had such class, and she could sing in several languages. An English American from New England, she performed thru the 40s to the 60s. The big breakout hit was Fascination in 1957. "The Day the Rains Came Down" followed. Even when it wasn't a hit she sounded great.
1) Love Makes the World Go Round - this is from 1961, written by Bob Merrill for the musical "Carnival".(There are several different songs with this same title)
2) Oh How I Lie - mid-60s
3) Granada - 1959 hit, very memorable.

Triplet Canon カノン
Ai played the violin,John played the viola and Daisuke played the piano at pancake breakfast of International House on October 14.
John asked me to duet 2weeks ago for the performance and agreed that Canon is the best song to play together. As we are practicing, I asked my Dad to bring violin from the house in Chicago and found the person who can play the violin. That's how we formed the triplet.

This is my entry for the play it forward ukulele video contest: http://ukulelereview.com
In this video I give a brief explanation and demonstration of a triplet rasgueado, a scratch, and then put the two together to make a rhythm with a fandango feel to it. The techniques shown here can be done in multiple ways and used for various types of music, so please be creative with it and experiment!
If you're new to the ukulele, grab your ukulele before you watch the video! I'll walk you through the individual motions for each technique.
Many thanks to Mike (http://www.youtube.com/AjaxTheGoat) for spending hours at my house editing the video for me, cutting the video down to under ten minutes, and including the bloopers reel of mishaps that occurred during the filming. Also, thanks to Julie at ukulelereview.com for hosting a forward-thinking contest, and good luck to all contestants!
