Flood of 1996 - Tualatin, Oregon
These are pictures I took while living in Oregon. I had to park way up the road and walk around the City to get all of these pictures. It was crazy. Fire & Rescue was there with their boat, people had to get canoe rides to their apartments. The apartments in the pictures had their lower level completely flooded and everything was damaged beyond repair. Tualatin, Oregon is a flood plain and there really was nothing holding the water back. You will see lots of submerged vehicles, the flooded parking lot of Fred Meyer's, blocked roads, blue skies, and tons of spectators, residents, tv stations, etc. A tv film crew even braved going out in a raft to do some filming.

Jesuit defeats Tualatin, 52-20
Keanon Lowe's kickoff return for a touchdown immediately answered a score from Tualatin, and touched off the win at Cronin Field.
Lowe also caught two of Scott Williams' four first-half touchdown passes; Dylan Jackson scored twice, Anthony Blake and Patrick Sullivan caught touchdown passes and Kyle O'Keefe scored on a fumble return.
For Tualatin, Alex Poti scored twice early in the game, and Levi Levassa scored the final touchdown.

Tigard Tualatin District Board Meeting Student Opinion
This is video from the Tigard-Tualatin School District Board Meeting that took place on December 13, 2007. Teachers, students, and parents attended in vast numbers to show their displeasure with the negotiating process regarding the contracts of the teachers in the districts. The teachers are currently working without a contract, and may be forced to go on strike. This specific video is of Chloe, the student largely responsible for organizing the other students to attend this meeting, giving her opinions. Hers is my favorite of the four public opinion speakers that spoke at the meeting, which I have also uploaded. She talks about how the district is there for the students, and exists to watch out for their best interests, yet, if this strike actually happens, the students obviously will NOT have been taken care of. As she puts it, if all of this goes through, then the blame is squarely on the district.
