An Atheistic Agnostic's Take on the utnow challenge
I respond to Scott's (utnow) question on religion and explain why I am an Atheist with a twist of Agnosticism, or an Agnostic with strong atheistic leanings.
Here are three videos I encourage you to watch.
Here is a video by RabidApe explaining that one of the reasons he is an atheist is because of the inherent impossibility of an omnipresent, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent God.

This video by OneLessGod shows the type of prophecy that would be needed to provide conclusive evidence that there is a God.

Here is a video by Brett Keane where he states that agnostics use flawed logic.

UTNow vs. Kent Hovind Evolution/Creation Debate (continued)
Part 2 of 2
Keep in mind while watching this, that I am not a Christian, nor do I entirely believe in Creation. I believe Evolution and Creation both are good origin theories, but it takes a great deal of faith to accept them as truth. They are both religious. However, only Evolution is taught in public schools despite numerous problems with it.
I think this has alot to do with scientists elaborating on their findings in order to recieve grant money, which they could not continue their research without. This is unfortunate, but I do not believe Evolution nor Creation should be taught in public schools as "factual origins." I don't really have a problem with either being brought up in the context that they are theoretical.
And I may be doing a similar video later on that makes Creationism look bad. I just have alot of videos planned already, so it might be awhile before I get around to it.
And no UTNow's were harmed during the making of this film. I love watching his videos, even though in some of these clips, he does look like a pretentious ass :P, but I really agree with his views on gun control, and I'm sure many other things. And I also recommend people check out Kent Hovind's video series, I have seen just about all of them and they are fascinating.
