Here's StaR XiM's original post: Well here is another montage edited by me, XiM Productions. This is a Gamebattles doubles montage with clips from the winter ladder but there is a bit of a story behind this so just read it while you download (or in this case, stream).
So me and VeXx are good friends in real life. He got me into Halo in about 7th grade, and since the first summer after Halo 2 came out we have always been a good 2v2 tandem. Then we registered on game battles for fun, trying to get better as individuals, and later on, once we saw that we had compiled up quite a few clips between the two of us, the idea of this montage was made. As we played, we began to notice we were climbing up the ladder incredibly fast and felt that we could reach that number one spot. Unfortunately (as you probably know) kids will stop at nothing to get their win. So after numerous wrongful tickets, complaints that had been sent in against us, and people stopping at nothing to try to keep us away from that number 1 spot, our surge to the top ended at us being ranked 6th. We were locked by an admin, and this was enough to force us to retire from Halo 3 doubles.
As for the montage, I edited it in about 2 hours, after going through many editors and issues with the clips themselves I decided I would just go ahead and throw something together and post it anyways.
