Air Force One (Boeing 747) 747-400 landing the famous Hong Kong Kai Tak Int'l (VHHX), with passing over the new Chek Lap Kok Airport (VHHH). Landing at dusk with nice scene, hope you will love it. Sorry no music, just the raw sound from FS9 (not FSX)- but I love it. This is my FIRST upload, I'll upload few other FS clips if I see people like it and rate it.

Atterraggio all'aeroporto di Hong Kong "Kai Tak" VHHX
L'aeroporto di Hong Kong "Kai Tak" (VHHX) è stato chiuso al traffico nel 1998, sostituito dal più grande Chek Lap Top (VHHH), ma il ricordo del Kai Tak rimane vivo per la sua particolarità. Inserito nel centro del quartiere di Kowloon, su una lingua di terra strappata al mare, disponeva di un'unica pista con orientamento 130-310. La pista 31 prevedeva un accesso diretto e lineare dal mare, ma, a causa degli sconfinamenti in territorio cinese e dei venti sfavorevoli, era la meno utilizzata. La pista 13, invece, a causa della conformazione delle montagne vicine, non permetteva un accesso diretto, ma imponeva un bank finale di 47 gradi sorvolando a poche decine di metri i grattacieli. Per l'avvicinamento alla pista 13 era stato installato un IGS che direzionava gli aerei fino a poche miglia dalla pista, verso una collina dove è disegnata una gigantesca scacchiera bianca e rossa (checkerboard), imponendo poi una curva segnata da un sentiero luminoso, da farsi completamente in manuale per procedere poi all'atterraggio.
