Thanks Decor-It-Yourself & Method!!
Jonna and I made a video tutorial that shows how to make an old lampshade cool with just a glue gun and some thrift store fabric. That video won an online video contest that we didn't even know we entered. We won the Method Home Detox kit from Decor-It-Yourself (a subsidiary of threadbanger) and were featured in one of their webcasts. Method makes earth friendly non-toxic home cleaners. It's pretty rad knowing we're cleaning our tub with something that's not going to hurt the furry feet that play in there. And our cats will be safe, too!

Talking Cat: Gromit's Home Depot Contest Entry Ferndale, MI
Hi, I'm Gromit and I hijacked my human's youtube account to submit a video to this contest. I hope you enjoy my video!
Update from videojay:
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who watched our video dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of times to help get Gromit's view count up. We unfortunately didn't win 1st or 2nd place. Home Depot was kind enough to offer a $20 gift card to every contestant and we sure do appreciate that.
Clearly, we've got a lot to fix. If anybody viewing this has any spare building materials lying around that you think we could use, let me know! If anybody has any skills that we could use and will work for beer and pizza, let me know! If anybody is a producer for a home makeover show, let me know (I'll give you beer and pizza, too)!
Thanks again. It's been very nice to see the outpouring of support for Gromit, Jonna and I. Our friends and family really came through for us.
Update #2:
The Home Depot contest erupted into scandal. The winning entry had 4 copyright violations that were corrected after the deadline despite Home Depot disqualifying another video because someone's step-dad's brother worked at Home Depot.
