FAREPOESIA n. 22 Scherzo romantico Omaggio a F. Schlegel
Farepoesia/Videozine di poesia e arte sociale, ospita un omaggio a Friedrich Schlegel, il padre della rivoluzione romantica tedesca, geniale teorico, filosofo, critico, scrittore, attivista e agitatore del sonnecchioso ambiente culturale tedesco tra la fine del '700 e l'inizio dell'800. F. Schlegel prima di rientrare nei ranghi del cattolicesimo imperiale, muovendosi tra Jena e Berlino, è stato il promotore principale di una nuova poetica "universale e progressiva". E' sostanzialmente lo zio di tutte le avanguardie a venire... nonché parente stretto di Nietzsche, e peraltro antihegeliano prima degli antihegeliani (anche di Sinistra) e forse già prima di Hegel stesso. Farepoesia gli rende omaggio con un video di poco meno di 8 min. in cui sono raccolti alcuni mirabili "frammenti" del suo "sistema-non-sistema", una moderna costruzione frammentaria di abbagliante lucidità . Si tratta di un invito alla sua riscoperta. Numerose immagini contenute non sono perfettamente in "ordine" filologico ma, crediamo, in estrema sintonia... Il tutto è condito da ottima musica con brani di F. P. Focardi, G.L.Ferretti, Handel, Popol Vuh e B. Eno. Il video non ha finalità commerciali o di profitto. Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine - Episode 23.
This month's episode features three viewer contributed videos.
First, we're off to Germany for the MegaPott GeOlympics 2007 with a video from MapMakerMike. Then back to North America for highlights from the MOGA 2007 - Midwest Open Geocaching Adventure from Paul Konopacki. This video is a highlight package from a DVD containing over a hour of footage from the event. The full length video is available from the Geo St. Louis site.
Next, it's off to the west coast of California to join the Podcacher team in a video demonstration of games built into the Garmin GPS 60 series GPSs.

Icenrye's Geocaching Videozine - Episode 28
This episode I take a look at Shutterspot, a game played using photos and the GPS. Game players, using pictures, try to mark the spot where the pictures were taken. It's another fun thing to do with your GPS.
Also, I have a quick peek at the new Garmin Colorado GPS receiver.
The show is shorter then usual. I'm making a few changes to the show including shorter, but more frequent episodes. I hope you enjoy the new length.
Another change is in file formats. I'm now creating an Apple TV version that can be played on any computer, however is sized for the Apple TV.
As usual, streaming on YouTube, iTunes version on Blip, and the high res Apple TV, Divx and regular res wmv is on Archive.

This month I take a quick peek at the latest version on Google Earth. Google Earth is a fun program that uses satellite images to "fly" you anywhere on the planet. It also has mapping abilities and many more features.
I continue my Flickr series with a look at a new feature that allows you to show where you took a picture.
