Slideshow: La Bonne Vivante African American Antique Photos
La Bonne Vivante presents a gallery of African American antique photographs whose content is typical of what is available for sale. We have just acquired three new collections of antique and vintage African American photographs from three different estates located in Andover, KS, Sewickley, Pa, and Philadelphia, PA. These new acquisitions are comprised of more than 1200 African American photographs, and include many genres: cartes de visite, tintypes, cabinet cards, real photographic postcards, professional portraiture, found, and vernacular photos from the 1870s to 1940s and beyond. Many of our images are more than one hundred years old. Stay tuned to the LaBonneVivanteDotCom channel for news of our upcoming website launch, will occur in the very near term, concurrent with the introduction of these three new African American photo and ephemera collections. In the interim, do visit our selling venue at labonnevivante.com, e-mail us at labonnevivante@verizon.net or telephone us, at 703-912-7729, with your questions, feedback, and special Black Americana needs.
