In order to write our own destiny
Fight for a better union like Barack

I say Barack Obama
Not just because his skin's reflecting me
He's not just for the blacks or for the whites

He's uniting us as one people for peace
So let's elect him
See his plan for energy efficiency's
right and exact
On top of that he's gonna pull
all of the troops out of Iraq.
While other politicians
Spill blood for oil
Leading to turmoil and division
He knows we can neither
Retreat from the world
Nor try to bully it into submission

No other president's even taking it there
Spending our budget wisely on education
And universal healthcare
He's prepared to lead by example indeed
And set this country straight
So I place my ballot on Obama in 2008
