WCVB-TV news opens 1978
Here are a few news opens that were in use by WCVB-TV in Boston between 1978 and the early '80s. The music ("And You") was created by the now-defunct Telesound. All rights are acknowledged.
Today, Channel 5 is Boston's closest example of a full-service local station and the current market leader.
P.S. -- If you are watching this video from a web browser, sorry about the poor image quality. The material looks great in its native H.264 codec. YouTube's old Sorenson Spark codec is the weak link.
