THE WEEKEND is an independent movie shot entirely in New Jersey. We're so proud to have been picked up by Warner Bros. and Polychrome Pictures for distribution. Thanks to everyone for making the movie so well received and for giving this small film its unlikely opportunity.
SUMMARY:
In the spirit of "Dazed and Confused" and "Superbad," "The Weekend" relishes the moments that made being a teenager so excruciatingly painful and fantastic.
Over the course of a single weekend, various teenagers discover that, perhaps, they don't yet have it all figured out: Benjamin thinks he's going to marry his hesitant girlfriend, Marty pines for the unattainable Rachel, rich kid Jacob throws elaborate parties and sells drugs, and the underage "cool" Donny blackmails his "nerdy" older brother to tag along to Jacob's party.
"The Weekend" captures that special time in life when every moment seems like it's of epic importance but, in reality, it's just another exceptionally crazy weekend...
